Tony Murphy is a fractional CIO, CIO, and AI leader with experience leading technology, security, and AI strategy for public and private enterprises. He most recently served as CIO & CISO at Newfold Digital, where he spearheaded the company's enterprise-wide AI transformation and worked to mature the security and enterprise risk functions. He now advises organizations as a fractional CIO, drawing on prior CIO/CISO roles at Newfold Digital, Desktop Metal, Progress Software, and Stratus Technologies, guiding companies through IPOs, acquisitions, and major digital transformations.

He holds an MBA in Leadership from Bentley University and a BA in Economics & History from St. Patrick's College, Maynooth, and has completed executive programs in AI strategy at Berkeley and Babson and in corporate governance at Wharton, along with certifications including Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), ITIL, COBIT 5, and Six Sigma.
